Derrick Davis

I’ve never left my home without making the bed! It’s a habit instilled by my mother, who taught me that a neat, clean house speaks volumes and welcomes others. That early lesson in discipline, combined with a lifelong love of cars and architecture, became the foundation of my career in design.

My path to interior design was shaped by a unique blend of discipline and discovery. From playing baseball for Cincinnati Moeller High School and Miami of Ohio University—where I learned the true value of teamwork—to traveling all over the United States and beyond, I’ve always been a student of my surroundings. Influenced by my brother’s entrepreneurial spirit in Chicago and the highly decorated residences there, I developed a taste for the finer things and the audacity to go after what I wanted.

After years of applying my interior design knowledge across several different industries, I met Deana. What started as side projects grew into a fast-growing boutique design studio with excellent clientele and projects all around the map. Today, along side our "sister in design," Amber, we continue to transform spaces across the country. One thing I’ve learned on this journey is that fun must be incorporated into every project. Laughter feeds the soul, and it has become a critical part of my communication style with our team and our clients.

Though I’ve gathered inspiration from living in several different states around the US, Ohio is home, where I can share life with my greatest inspiration, my son. Watching him come to job sites and translate those experiences into incredible LEGO layouts reminds me daily why I do this. The team calls me "The Dreamer," and I take that title to heart as I work to turn your house into your dream home.

Deana Rogers

The Ohio State University

For some, interior design is a second career; for me, it is a lifelong calling. Growing up in Akron, Ohio, I spent many cold days inside, daydreaming and drawing different ways to rearrange my room. Coming from a project-oriented family there was always a home project going on. I watched and learned early on. In fact, my sixth-grade "Student of the Week" summary already stated my dream: I wanted to be an interior designer.

After committing to design classes at The Ohio State University and experiencing the joy of travel—drawing immense inspiration from beautiful hotel experiences—my passion truly took root. I began my professional career in 2004 at a local furniture store, where I gained invaluable experience in materials, overseas sourcing, and the critical importance of measuring for floor plans. I eventually transitioned into the commercial world, building lasting relationships with architects, designers, and local businesses.

In 2012, after a successful side project with my friend and partner, Derrick, Davis Rogers Interiors was born. Since then, we have grown, learned, and honed our expertise, leading us to our 2026 re-brand: Elevated Design Studio by D.R.I..

As a mother to a creative and energetic son, I am constantly challenged to be a better human being. While he sees us create beautiful spaces, my goal is to show him the true value of relationships. I believe that every beautiful element must serve a purpose, and that success is built on communication—ensuring that every voice, from the client to the installer, is heard. I look forward to bringing that blend of aesthetics, function, and heart to your next project.

Art Institute of Pittsburgh

My journey into design began at age five with a needle, thread, and an insatiable need to create. What started as seasonally rearranging my childhood bedroom in New Mexico evolved into a career defined by a "hands-on" spirit. After honing my technical skills at The Art Institute of Pittsburgh I entered the industry during a shaky economy by leaning into my roots—painting murals and physically transforming spaces for clients who needed a fresh perspective. My professional foundation was truly solidified during my time with a furniture company, where I learned the "ins and outs" of quality craftsmanship.

It was only after starting a family of my own that the true weight of "home" became clear to me. Raising my kids and creating my own sanctuary taught me that every measurement matters and every corner has a purpose. Since joining the team at Davis Rogers Interiors in 2017 - now Elevated Design Studio by DRI, my role has evolved into a full-spectrum design experience. From the first technical drawing to the final implementation, I treat every project as a personal mission.

Guided by my faith and a desire to see people beyond the surface level, I aim to leave every client feeling seen, loved, and truly at home. For me, a successful space isn't just beautiful—it's a timeless experience rooted in joy, intentionality, and the same care I pour into my own family.
